The Kooi Power Boxes are used in places where no or insufficient electrical power is available, such as remote locations with no connection to the mains voltage or where solar energy is not an option.

Limited fuel consumption and limited CO2 emissions

The Power Box has a powerful, reliable and economical diesel engine that produces less particulate matter, CO2 and NOx. Thanks to smart technology, the Power Box only activates when the UFO signals the need. This limits fuel costs and CO2 emissions, thereby keeping environmental impact at a minimum. With the soundproof housing and built-in fuel tank, the Power Box is resistant to vandalism. Besides, it’s very suitable for continuous use over extended periods of time, even in an unstable environment.

How does the Power Box work?

The soot filter captures all soot particles and burns them completely. This reduces soot emissions by 99.9%. With the Smart technology, the system switches on and off automatically depending on the power needs of the UFO.
