Do you know how to find and drive new customer business within the UK market? To maintain the position as market leader, growth is necessary. That is why Kooi is looking to strengthen the current team within the Waste Industry for our product: the RED. As a Sales Manager, you maintain and expand your relationship network. What are you going to do?

Your primary functions will include market research, generating leads and reaching out to potential clients. In addition to this you will also be attending client meetings set up by yourself and potentially as a support for any colleagues’ client meetings, travelling nationally to meet & close prospective clients. Managing a large pipeline of potential clients efficiently and managing the sales cycle end to end.
Our product RED (Rising Early Detection) is an innovative product that can measure heat and can immediately alert should developments occur that could lead to a waste fire. You think along with the customer and with your excellent empathy you create an image of the (potential) customer and link this to the possibilities within Kooi. You invest in the relationship and have knowledge of your own products in order to then give substantiated advice and present a suitable solution.

You know how to independently build and expand your network. You can easily switch between different customers in terms of size and regional culture. Finally, you ensure that the project is correctly identified so that we can start installing and renting out RED systems without any problems.


What do we ask of you?

First of all, that you fit in our informal culture of solution-orientation, quality and progressiveness. In addition, we are looking for someone who can network well and convince customers.


  • Has demonstrable experience in a similar position; (rental sector, waste and recycling industry)
  • New business development sales experience
  • Can work independently and connects with the head office;
  • Can level on all sort of levels, from SMEs to multinational;
  • A level and higher
  • Are a real hunter in the field of new business.

Where are you going to work?

Kooi offers mobile camera systems with which we can easily and optimally observe construction sites, waste sites and remote areas. With these systems, called Unit For Observation (UFO), we are pioneers in the European market. Kooi has its own surveillance center, the Kooi Alarm Center. All reports from the connected systems are analysed and processed within this certified alarm center. The systems are designed, assembled and maintained by the Kooi head office in NL. We also have offices in Germany, France, Denmark and the United Kingdom.
